Some people believe that all good things come in threes. Apparently, the people at Braun can be counted among them. They created the Braun 3Series 380S-4 Wet & Dry Shaver with its Triple Action Free Float System and Three-Stage Cutting System.
The Triple Action Free Float System refers to the flexibility of the pair of foils and the integrated cutter in between them. These are mounted on heads that float freely, bending in all directions when pressed against your skin. They thus follow the contours of your face easily accessing even hard-to-reach areas.
The Three-Stage Cutting System, on the other hand, is the process of cutting hairs progressively in three steps. The oscillating cutter cuts long hairs into short stubbles while the blades under the foils cut them further.
Often, hairs do not grow in a single direction. To address this, Braun designed the foils of the 3Series with holes of different angles and orientation. With this unique design, stubble-length hairs easily fall into the holes where they are cut as close to the roots as possible.
Another feature of the Braun 3Series is its SensoFoil technology. This allows the foils to glide smoothly over your skin without causing irritation or rashes. Braun claims their system to be better than rotary shavers with skin conditioners.
The shaver can be used either wet or dry. This is because its body is fully waterproofed, thus allowing you to enjoy a refreshing shave with foam or gel while in the shower. And since it runs on a rechargeable battery, and can be operated without cords, you can also use it on the go in your car while stuck in traffic or at the office.
To keep your mustache, beard, or sideburns neat, the shaver includes a hair trimmer that is mounted on its back.
While you can clean the shaver by running water through it, it comes with a Clean & Renew System for a more thorough cleaning. This consists of a dock where you can immerse the shaver for automatic cleaning, lubricating, and charging.
