Incorporating Braun's Pulsonic Technology, the shaver generates 10,000,000 micro-vibrations per minute and transmits them to the head thus oscillating the foils in rapid pulses to expose and cut more hair.
The shaver head consists of two foils that sandwich an oscillating trimmer with a comb in between them. Dubbed PowerComb, it is designed to lift and cut hairs that lie flat on you skin without causing irritation or rashes. With these three cutting elements, you are assured that both long and short hairs are cut, and cut closely.
For its foils, the Braun shaver uses its own smart foils with ergonomically sized holes to facilitate the cutting of hair as close to your skin as possible. The foils are free floating, tilting to the left or right independently of each other, depending on the contours of your face. The entire shaver head also pivots, further enhancing its capability to adjust to the curves of your cheeks, chin, jaw, and neck.
Cleaning the Braun Series 7 760 Shaver can be done by running clean tap water through its foils. However, for a more thorough clean, the use of Braun's Clean & Renew System is recommended. This cleans, dries, and lubricates the shaver simply by docking it inside the cleaning chamber. It also recharges its battery.
The battery is a Lithium-Ion type that can run the shaver for 50 minutes. When fully drained, it takes an hour to reach full charge. For a quick single shave, you can charge it for five minutes. With an automatic voltage adjuster, you can plug the charger in either 120- or 240-volt power outlets.
