In addition to this, the Panasonic ES8109S Vortex Wet/Dry Shaver also comes with an intelligent base to make it even cleaner. Known as the HydraClean system, the base contains alcohol-free water that is infused with detergents that cleans and freshens the blades. After the wash, a heating element dries the blades making them ready for a dry shave. The base also doubles as the shaver's battery charger.
An internal rechargeable battery eliminates the need to frequently buy new and discard old batteries. A single one-hour charge is good for 14 shaves, but if you run out of power because you forgot to recharge it, you can plug it in for five minutes for a single shaving.
