The shaver's patented Reflex Action System adjusts the shaving heads to the contours of your face, easily accessing every nook and cranny of your cheeks, chin, jaw, and neck. Because the shaving heads bend back as you press the shaver against your face, your skin is never under excessive pressure and thus you need not worry about skin irritation or rashes.
With its dual blade system, referred to as Superior Lift & Cut Technology, the shaver first lifts each individual hair before cutting it. Lifting is done by the first blade which is angled in a way that it does not immediately cut hair, lifting it instead to expose a section that is normally under the skin. Before you begin to hurt from the pulling of your hair, a second blade follows and cuts it. When released, the hair goes right back under the skin, leaving your skin surface extremely smooth.

Cleaning the Philips Norelco 7345XL Electric Razor is easy as you only need to open the heads and run clean tap water through them. For a more thorough clean, however, use the cleaning brush that comes with the shaver.
The shaver is powered by a rechargeable battery that, when fully charged, can run the shaver's motor for a full 30 minutes. For charging, it can be plugged into 100- to 240-volt electric outlets. It takes eight hours to reach full charge from full drain. A charging indicator lights up if the shaver is plugged.
