In order to keep your sink or vanity or any place where you are shaving clean and free from cut hairs, the shaver incorporates a hair pocket made of hard rubber mounted below the blades that traps cut hair. It also prevents them from falling into the shaver's motor.
Cleaning is done with a supplied brush as the shaver cannot be rinsed with water. You will need to remove the hair pocket and tap out its contents, as well as those clinging to the foils and blades after each shave. You only need a more thorough cleaning with the brush once a month.

The Remington F3790 Men's Electric Shaver is powered by a rechargeable battery that can run continuously for 40 minutes from full charge. When charging for the first time, keep it plugged for 24 hours before using. After this, 16 hours of charging will suffice. Be sure there is enough power left in the battery before using though, as the shaver will not run when plugged for charging.
