With three shaving heads sitting on a chromed base and a black and gray body, the Remington R-5150 Flex 360 Electric Rotary Shaver exudes an attractive look that also says it is strong and it does what it is meant to do –deliver a close and smooth shave. Indeed, it does.
Incorporating pivot and flex technology, the neck of the shaver pivots freely in all directions, bending backwards as the shaver heads are pressed against your face. In addition to this, the three shaver heads themselves also float and flex independently of each other, allowing each to follow the contours of your face and neck. These result in a smooth and comfortable shave as the blades are enabled to get as close as possible to the surface of your skin. At the same time, rashes and irritation are also prevented as the shaving heads are never pressed against your skin with excessive pressure.
Each of the shaving heads is fitted with dual track blades, providing a wider coverage and quicker shaving. The blades are coated with titanium, making them extremely strong and durable and keeping them sharp even after repeated use with the wiriest of facial hairs.
Apart from shaving your unwanted facial hair, the Remington R-5150 is also equipped with a pop-up trimmer for keeping your beard, mustache, and sideburns neat and trim. You only need to push it up with your thumb if you need it.
The shaver runs on a rechargeable battery that, when fully charged, can power up the motor for up to 30 minutes. An LED gauge numbered from 0 to 100 in increments of 20 indicates its available power. When drained, it takes 90 minutes reach full charge. For a single shave, however, a 5-minute quick charge suffices. Since the charger has a universal voltage, you can plug it into 110- or 220-volt power outlets.
The Remington R-5150 Flex 360 Electric Rotary Shaver comes with a brush for cleaning when shaving on the go. If you shave in the bathroom, however, you can wash it with running water from the tap.
