Specifically designed for young men whose moustache and beard are just beginning to show, the Remington XT-100 Code Young Men's Shaver features a dual-method-dual-head system that guarantees a close shave without causing rashes, burns, or irritation on the young adults' sensitive skin.
One of the heads is a two-sided clipper. It is mounted at the front of the shaver, and it includes a comb which is embedded in the shaver's body but which can be raised when trimming multiple-day body hair or beard growths. The second head, right behind the clipper, consists of a thin foil concealing shaving blades underneath. This is intended for fine shaving.
The clipper and foil head are integrated and are driven by single oscillator assembly. It is run by a powerful motor. The combined action of the two heads results in a shave that removes both long and short hairs. The clipper cuts the long and thin hairs into shorter lengths, while the foil head shaves short hairs and stubbles. Because the heads are integrated, they are removed as a single unit when cleaning the shaver.
Since young men typically have thin facial hairs, the XT-100 Code shaver is ideal for them. Equipped with adjustable comfort guards, the shaver shields the skin from the trimmer blades that can accidentally cut the skin of a young who is still trying to figure out the right shaving angle.
To satisfy the curiously of a first-time shaver about how the electric razor works, the back of the shaver features a window through which the workings of the machine can be seen. Lights are also included that illuminate the area being shaved.
The motor runs on a rechargeable battery that, at full charge, can continually power the shaver for up to 30 minutes. In case its power runs low, a red LED lamp comes alive as a warning. Two other LED lamps, colored green, light up when charging.
The Remington XT-100 Code Young Men's Shaver measures 3.38" D x 6.38" D x 10.88 H. It weighs less than a pound.
